The Potted Pansy Internship Program 2020
Hello! And welcome! We are excited to be creating our team this year and hope you will be a part of it! At The Potted Pansy, we focus on exceptional design, quality flowers, wonderful client experience, and our motto, “Crave the Imperfect”. We believe that each and every flower is unique and that the flower as a whole can create atmosphere, experience, and ambience. We love the wild bits of weeds, dry elements found in nature, and implementing design that belongs both within the space and to our clients.
It is our intent and hope that each of our interns becomes part of this integral process and feels what the flowers can do for each of us. During this internship program, you will learn flower care and processing, see the ins and outs of an event floral business, and grow along with us as we continue to build our team. It is from this group that we hire and further train and educate employees after a full program trial period. If you have minimal floral experience, but have some kind of background or knowledge of design, this position is for you!
Hours are scheduled monthly and are typically on Wednesday/Thursdays and Friday/Saturdays. The season will run from May - October of 2020. A weekly commitment is required. As an event business, hours fluctuate and differ, and so a number of interns will be joining the team to fill the gaps. Please include your basic availability in order for us to do so. No experience is necessary, as we will train each intern during scheduled training sessions, as well as throughout the season.
