Top 3 Industrial Wedding Venues in Utah

One of the latest trends to hit the wedding industry is “industrial chic” -- a great style option for couples who want a modern spin on a vintage look. Think: old factory buildings, renovated warehouses, metal table numbers, and dangling light bulbs.

If this sounds right up your alley, then you’ll love these three amazing industrial wedding venues in Utah!

1. Salt Lake Hardware Building

Between the exposed brick walls, a classic vibe, and an ambiance that brings you back in time, there’s lots to love about the Salt Lake Hardware Building! It was built back in 1909 during the expansion of the railroad system, and you can nearly feel the history as you walk around this Victorian Eclectic style building.

This is also a great option for large weddings, since it can seat up to 200 of your guests! And with its five-story sky-lit atrium, you won’t feel overcrowded at all.

2. Publik Coffee

Another stunning option for industrial weddings in Utah is Publik Coffee! This venue is more modern than the Salt Lake Hardware Building, but still offers an industrial feel for those who love exposed brick walls, lots of wood accents, and tons of natural light. You’ll also have tons of space in this 4,000-square-foot venue and dozens of ways to turn this blank canvas into something truly unique!

3. The Startup Building

If you want a venue that has a down-to-earth vibe blended with an old-time feel, The Startup Building near Downtown Provo might be a great option for you. Built in 1898, it was initially created as a candy factory and even created the first candy bar in the US -- a truly sweet backstory for a wedding venue! This location combines rustic elegance with industrial chic, and it’s one of my favorite venues in Utah!

4. Knot and Pine

Nestled at the base of the Utah mountains is a gorgeous “new” venue that has been completely remodeled! I say new because this building has been around for ages, but with this new feel you’d never know it had previously been an office building. Featuring original wood, tin slats, and the most gorgeous original barn doors, this space is a stunner! And for ease and convenience, farm tables and chairs are offered here! Yay!

5. The White Shanty

If you want white, this is your place. Ceilings that reach to the sky with a custom square chandelier that can be lowered with ease, this is a florist’s dream! The doors are stunning. The space is light and bright. And it has all the modern magnolia farm house look you’re dreaming about.
