I'm right here with you. Homeschooling? Really? This is unchartered territory and it’s tough!!!

After 2 weeks of lots of grumbling and fighting and deep breaths (and some timeouts...for me), we've decided we need more hands on, more nature, more applied learning. And less crying for screens, that's for sure! So as the mama and new teacher at this house, I’m doing this the way I know how to do it! We are going to be IN the learning. We are going to watch it and see it and experience it. That’s how we know how to learn over here. Are you with me?

What’s included?

4 classes of 45 minutes each that will teach your child/children to appreciate nature, look for beauty in the earth, care for flowers, and design with them as they bring them from outdoors to indoors.

Classes will follow this guideline:

1. April 8: Flower Basics & Care

2. April 15: Foraging for Flowers

3. April 22: Making Mini Bouquets for Friends and Family

4. April 29: Making Vase Arrangements to Brighten our Days

   Classes will be taught online conferencing weekly on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am MST.

In addition, if you’d like a package of the supplies you will need sent to you, please add the kit at checkout. You can also gather the supplies on your own if you prefer. The supply kit will include:

1 clippers
1 plastic rose strippers
1 metal thorn remover
1 pair garden gloves (Note: random color)
1 roll floral tape
1 roll container tape
1 roll double-sided tape
1 brick floral foam
1 floral container
1 length ribbon
1 length wire

Because times are uncertain and we really just want to help, this is set up as a “pay what you can” purchase. Once you have “purchased” the free classes, we will send you an email with additional details. If you’d like to make a payment, instructions will be sent at that time.

The supply kit will be strictly cost based at $42.50 per set + $19 each for additional students.
