Pantone Color of the Year Bouquet | Utah Florist
Every year, there is a color selected which all trends in fashion, weddings and design stem. This year, the pantone color is Green. Greenery. Symbolic of new beginnings and new growth. Representative of the lush outdoors and emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality. Neutrals have been a trend for a number of years now and it's nice to see nature's neutral come to the foreground. Greenery brings a sense of rejuvenation and revitalizes. In a world of urban skylines, pulling greenery back into cement buildings is striking and powerful. We are seeing the trend in the floral world being used in garlands, the return of tropical greens, and my favorite, ferns! Greenery can range from sage greens to true greens then on to forest greens. The use of this range in a monochromatic color scheme brings depth and dimension. Notice there aren't ANY blooms in this bouquet, it is all greenery, foliage, and berries. And yet it definitely doesn't lack for interest! Focusing on greenery only allowed me to also concentrate on form. I believe the form of this bouquet, it's mechanics, and structure are one of the best I have ever made. Keep it simple! You won't regret it.
