Michelle + Nate. Blue Bridals.
"I'm boho at heart and was determined to have a boho wedding...but then I found this dress..."
That's how my conversation started with Michelle. Her dress was absolutely divine. Lace detail, sheer lace sleeve, a back comb veil that was to die for. Not really boho, no. But gorgeous as could be!
Michelle's venue was full of plants, a mini garden of Eden greenhouse, placed right in the middle of Salt Lake City. so we really didn't need a lot of color on the tables or much detail either. In this instance, less was definitely more.
And that left Michelle. Her stately dress. That beautiful curly hair. And Nate. His dark suit. Their stunning features together.
We decided to put most of our emphasis, all of the color, and the tiniest glimpses of boho, into her bouquet. This girl needed to call all of the attention. And we both got giddy when we decided on a plum/magenta ribbon! Yes!!! That was the starting point that got the juices flowing. The rest just came together!
Michelle gave me few specifics: magenta/plum, a soft orange, blue. And let me run with it. But run with blue? Um...not my favorite flower color. Because, well, flower just don't grow blue. The options are so few and limited. But, I thought, we could use a purplish blue. And I ordered in the blue anemones. I've really only seen them a dark purple. But that could work, right?!
You guys!!!!! i have never, ever seen them come in this color! Ever. Blue!!! True, royal, beautiful blue! I'll probably never see them again. So blue. I love you!
